Our projects
Groasis stands out because it applies innovative and disruptive technological solutions, giving our projects a characteristic of excellence, always seeking a different technological approach to the projects we undertake to achieve the objectives in a unique way.
Our research team is always looking for disruptive and original innovation.
Synchronous modulation system using amplitude modulation
We have a technology that allows us to quadruple the amount of information that can be transported by an amplitude modulated carrier with patent pending in several countries
We have developed a telecommunications technology that allows information to be sent at twice the frequency of the carrier wave, which represents four times the maximum theoretical frequency possible according to telecommunications theory, which establishes that the maximum frequency of an information wave cannot exceed half the value of the carrier frequency.
Our modulation system reduces the lateral frequencies inherent to the modulation to a minimum, thus requiring a minimum bandwidth. This technology has great applications, mainly for the transmission of high-frequency information in restricted bands and in the transmission of fiduciary and banking data.
Project title
Electroacupuncture equipment for blood pressure control
We designed a portable electroacupuncture device for blood pressure control
We designed and patented the first early earthquake warning system, based on sensors and telecommunications. This system serves as the foundation for Mexico City's seismic alert and several tsunami warning systems worldwide.
In 1985 we designed and patented the seismic alert system that has been the technological basis for the development of the Mexico City earthquake early warning system and many other early warning systems for tsunamis and earthquakes. This technology makes use of the difference in the speed of propagation of seismic waves and electromagnetic waves to give advance warning to the population before the imminent arrival of an earthquake or tsunami.

Own research technologies and collaborative projects among others
Temperature controlled motorcycle gear
A collaborative research based on the use of metamaterials and thermoelectric converters to induce temperature-controlled airflow inside helmets and jackets used in motorcycling
Development of various technologies for measuring the amount of fluids (dry or wet) contained in tanks.
Using admittance sensors for liquids in tanks, magnetic interfaces, telemetry sensors, optical resonance (alternative to time-of-flight meters), grey code disks decoders for traditional elecromecanical gas tank level meter, etc... Technologies supported by several granted patents
Detector for the control of the AH1-N1 epidemic
Based on a portable device specially calibrated to detect the fever levels associated with this disease, the devices indicate with a green or red light if the subject should be isolated and checked more thoroughly or not.
Device to carry the Internet network along the power transmission lines.
These devices are small cylinders that have a hook that is used to hang the device from the high voltage alternating current cables. This unique connection provides the system with all the necessary energy since it uses a virtual ground system allowing Internet to be brought to remote communities that have electricity
Electrochemical potentiostats
We design equipment for the electrochemical industry such as electronic potentiostats used to determine the speed of chemical reactions and for chemical analysis.
